In December of 2019, Anastasia was undergoing an invasive dental procedure where she had a Near Death Experience (NDE). She crossed over to what she called the “void” when she left this world. During her NDE, her soul connected to an indescribable bliss and infinite all-knowing Oneness where she understood who we are and why we are having a physical experience and came back with a clear message that there is no getting this life “right or wrong.”
After joining IANDS for support, Anastasia began telling her story publicly by sharing her profound insights through short videos on her TikTok page, podcast interviews, and a co-authored book titled "Aligned Leaders." Her NDE story has a profound healing message for those working through religious deconstruction, healing from traumatic life events, and those seeking to discover their life’s purpose. She hopes her experience will help others unlock their unlimited potential here in the physical to create a life full of peace, love, and joy.

I am committed to and relate to NAMI’s mission of building better lives through support, education, and advocacy for those living with mental health condition and their families. The hope and connection NAMI brings are vital for recovery. Changing stigma is most important to get more people into treatment faster. I hope to support not only NAMI on the National level but have seen the great difference the National can make by supporting the State and Affiliate levels. Having been involved on the NAMI FaithNet national committee level, I’ve seen the connection, support and shared knowledge that has made a difference.
